Service was okay, only reason for two stars. I ordered a double cheeseburger with fries, and my friend ordered the 12 oz sirloin. The cheese burger was okay, but my fries? They came out cold, like just thawed cold. So that tells me two things. 1. They're not fresh. 2. They don't pay attention. And on top of that, I only got 12 fries. 12. The whole meal cost about $9.00, for an okay burger, and 12 cold fries. The sirloin? We like grill marks, but not to taste the burnt food from before on them. Ordered it medium rare, came out undercooked.So, if you like okay food, salmonella, and cold fries, this is the place.

Food would be better if they seasoned it and if they made some from scratch. I can eat frozen and canned food at home

Don't laugh, but my husband and I went for lunch then dinner today. Lunch time is crazy busy here but the food is good and that is probably why. It's seat yourself. There is cafeteria style meal, salad bar and also menu items. Great prices. We went back for supper to celebrate our 2nd year anniversary. We both had steak, potato, salad. Really tasty. Steak was medium just as we asked. Great flavor, no steak sauce needed. The waitress was really helpful and friendly. a really enjoyable meal at a great price.

Good food and good service

Got the Valentine's Day special. Drinks, steaks, sides, and cheesecake for two for $45. Girlfriends steak was undercooked and they obviously were running low on cheesecake because they evidently cut one average size slice in half and put into two containers to send home with us. It was just enough cake to make a fellow want cake. I was very disappointed.

Good food friendly kind folk

A little disappointed with the service. Did not see our server after ordering until the bill was delivered. She was very nice and polite but not as efficient as I would have liked. The food was ok but nothing to write home about. The restaurant was busy with live entertainment, probably the place to go in town. We are from Nashville, and I love this area.

So.... we went to eat and I know everyone says white people can't cook, mostly that is a lie, except here, it was most definitely NOT A LIE. I feel sick and now will go home hungry, at least i was reminded why we never went back after the first time when we first moved here 5 years ago. Won't make that mistake again.

It was a pretty good place to eat. The service was fast and the prices weren't bad food was good.

They have a great plate lunch, 1 meat three sides and roll. And they give you plenty, includes dessert and a drink, $8

So far so good. We just got here and the gentleman is very nice. He got us our drinks immediately and took our order fast. Hopefully the food is just as good.

Got a burger and tots. Burger was fresh and juicy. Staff was friendly and I liked the atmosphere. $18 for 2 people with tea. Good deal.

You don't have to have a large salad bar for it to be great! The steamed vegetable medley was very tasty. The chase pie was to die for.

Great service! The salad bar is the freshest around and they've got a super mouth watering ribeye.

Usually this restaurant is pretty decent, but we had come at a bad time the food was cold and the service really lacked and that really is not the norm for this place. I recommend going earlier in the evening.

Great food and a very friendly staff

This is a good little restaurant. The food is delicious, try the salad bar or one of their sandwiches.... they also serve what I call comfort food. Great guest service, friendly, laid back country folks just like me!

Great catfish. Coleslaw is good too. Chicken tenders are awesome.

We always eat at the Saw Meal when in the area. The food is great, severe is excellent. It is a great value. It is exactly why small town USA is so wonderful!

Loved it good down home food.

It was bad, didn't get our order right,took it back,then they could not get it right the second time,onions on the meat was raw wasn't cooked, and my girlfriend's was burn meat,an the waiter was not wanting to do her job,so don't eat at the sawmill, unless you want, bad service,an bad food. I will not be eating at this place again for sure.

Good food, little pricey but not outrageous.

Salad bar has good variety and is fresh and replenished regularly. The chicken tips, steak, fish and hot wings are all really good and the Su day buffet is good. Sevice is great.

I have enjoyed everything I have ever ordered. I eat at the Saw Meal with my pastor friends after our weekly meeting. I took my wife to the Saw Meal and she loved their fried chicken sliders. She said it's the best fried chicken she has ever had (even better than her grandmother's!). The place is clean, the people are friendly and attentive, and the prices are very reasonable. ~~Scott & Marilyn

Good food and quick service.

First time i ever ate there the steak was awesome . I went twice after and they were absolutely nasty. Over tenderized tasted like eating a spoon full of salt . And either you get them under cooked or over cooked . A total disappointment for me . As i thought they were going to be a close place to enjoy good steak .

The food and service was great. It was our first time to eat there. As we were leaving our waitress came out of the restaurant and brought my small purse I had left in the seat. I was very thankful that there are still honest people around. We will be back to eat there again.

They have good food and the salad is the freshest you can get in the Adamsville area but the staff is mistreated. They're also really short on staff everyday and they're older people so it's harder on them to keep everything going.

Absolutely the best grilled fish in town....thank you!!!! And strawberry cake is very sweet as well. Just wish you stayed open I lil later on sundays.. 😍

This is a slop house. My high school cafeteria had tastier options than this place. Everything here tastes like it came out of a can without any added flavors or seasoning. Sure they might have an okay casserole or some decent fried catfish fish, but in this area that's something you could literally get from a corner gas station.

Always enjoy eating here. Everything I've ever ordered has been good.
